A combination of food and gardening.
This is an extremely light-hearted and jolly group whose monthly meetings are divided into two sections, food and gardening.
We generally meet on the 4th Monday each month from 2pm to 4pm at Hickling Barn. We would love to have new members, so if you feel this group is for you please go to the CONTACT tab for further information.
We usually start with the gardening session.
We all love our gardens and enjoy the interacting and sharing of our pooled knowledge.
We occasionally visit each others gardens with the aim of picking up tips and of gaining information. We share cuttings and seeds and our visits to local venues are proving to be very popular.
The Gourmet section of the meetings seem to be the highlight of the afternoon as we look forward to sampling the dishes cooked.
Recently, we selected countries from around the world and each member took turns in cooking a dish from their chosen country. We are currently working our way through the alphabet.
We exchange recipes and cooking tips.
